Chinhoyi High School (formerly Sinoia High School) is a co-educational Government high school located in Chinhoyi, the Prime City of Mashonaland West province, Zimbabwe. The motto of the school is Pietas which means “service to the community”.

 

St Ignatius College

Zimuto High School

Zimuto High, a school under the Reformed Church in Zimbabwe (RCZ) is situated 16km North of Masvingo town. Founded by the Dutch Reformed Church missionaries, Mr. A Dill, Mrs. Hurter and Mr. Finkle in 1952, the school has a current enrollment of 1061 learners of both sexes.

Our school is one of the 10 high schools which are under the same authority of Reformed Church in Zimbabwe whose educational values are to inculcate core values to its clientele through reconciliation, love, faith, hope, integrity, reliability, transparency, accountability, responsibility, good governance, honesty, fair play and dependability.

St David’s Girls High School

The school is amongst the oldest Anglican institutions. The school has exhibited itself as a colossus in academic, spiritual and cultural circles since its establishment in 1961.

Needless to say, that the world knows Bonda through thousands of girls who have passed through here. The school is in Mutasa District of Manicaland Province.

Saint David’s Girls High enrolls a large number of girls. Our standards of teaching and learning speak for themselves through the good passes at both Ordinary and Advanced levels. St David’s Girls High School is a learning institution under the Anglican Diocese of Manicaland in Zimbabwe.

Mutondwe High School

Mutondwe High School is a rural school which was established in January 1981under Pfura Rural District Council of Mount Darwin District in Mashonaland Central Province. Roman Catholic Diocese of Chinhoyi acquired the school from Pfura Rural District Council this year in June 2022. A wide curriculum is offered to 484 students, of which 220 are girls and 265 boys. Classes range from Form I to Form 6.

Dominican Convent High School Bulawayo Tops Pool C Quiz Competition

Dominican Convent High School (Bulawayo) won the Capital Markets High Schools Quiz Competition (Pool C) held on 14th October 2022 in Harare.  Schools that competed in Pool C were Kutama College, Nyadire High School, Mutambara High School, St Anne’s Goto High School and Dominican Convent High School Bulawayo.  Dominican Convent High School team members were offered a pair of shoes of their choice by one of the sponsors of the quiz, Tika Shoes.  Other sponsors of the quiz are POSB Ecocash, First Capital Bank and Rank Zimbabwe, College Press, Schweppes Zimbabwe, Milano, Glass Creations, Hotplate Grill and Delta Corporation.

Pool C Schools Ready to Battle it out

DOMINICAN CONVENT HIGH SCHOOL, BULAWAYO

 The School was founded by the Dominican Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in 1895 to serve the children of Zimbabwe. It is the oldest school in Bulawayo. It is a private Catholic school for girls. Dominican Convent High School is a member of the Association of Trust Schools (ATS) and the Headmistress is a member of the Conference of Heads of Independent Schools in Zimbabwe (CHISZ).

Dominican Convent decided to take part in the quiz competition because we encourage our girls to take part in extra curricula activities. Dominican Convent has a quiz club and taking part in this competition will encourage other girls to join the club. This gives them a chance to interact with students from other schools and it will enhance their confidence.

Buying stocks and investing is the talk in the economic world. Participating in this competition will educate our girls on the current trend in the economic sector. They in turn will educate others. It is from this background that Dominican Convent High School, Bulawayo is looking forward to participate in this quiz competition.

 

ST ANNES GOTO HIGH SCHOOL

 Located 32 kilometres from Wedza Growth Point along the Harare – Murambinda Highway. Saint Anne’s Goto is one of the most outstanding institutions when it comes to showing off learners talents. We believe in winning and as quiz giants we are ready to grab the prize on that day, the 14th October 2022.

 The school is a U.M.C mission school located in Chimanimani District 85km from Mutare (Manicaland Province). Our curriculum consists of Arts, Commercials, and sciences. NYADIRE HIGH SCHOOL

The school is a United Methodist Church run boarding school situated in Mutoko district, Mashonaland East. The school was founded in 1977 by the United Methodist Men (Vabvuwi) to cater for pupils with a technical bias who could not be absorbed into the mainstream school system of the pre-independence era. Thus, the school began its operations as a technical Boys Secondary school. However, by 1981 the school had begun transforming itself into a co-educational institution when it enrolled its first Girls, but only as day scholars. The school offers a relevant value centered curriculum to O and A Level classes which is anchored on Christian teaching. Our thrust is to serve the world by creating morally sound products with limitless potential to transform themselves and their communities.

 

 ST FRANCIS XAVIER’S KUTAMA COLLEGE

 Founded in 1914, St Francis Xavier’s Kutama College is a Catholic Boys College located 84 km from Harare along Norton / Murombedzi Robert Mugabe Road under the Catholic Diocese of Chinhoyi. The school offers a diverse educational curriculum from form 1 up to 6. Each form has 4 classes with an average 42 students per class and a total of 867 Boys. St Francis Xavier’s Kutama College migrates to a Private Mission School with effect from 1 January 2023. The College educates and makes Jesus Christ known to young people.
